Hysterical Literature

A woman sits in front of the camera with a book and tries to keep reading while a vibrator stimulates her. The words flow normally at first; then her voice falters, sentences break apart, and laughter or moans begin to interrupt the page. That contrast is the whole point of Hysterical Literature: a serious reading collides with pleasure that becomes harder and harder to hide. The book is not a prop, because she genuinely tries to hold her place and finish the passage while her body sets a different pace. The setup is often filmed simply, keeping attention on the text, her face and the exact moment concentration gives way.
